BRADLEY DRAKE
Bradley
Drake is registered as a clinical psychologist with the Health
Professions Council of South Africa. He is a founding member of
the Centre for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cape Town, South Africa.
Bradley is now in his eighth year in private practice and consults
predominantly with adults and adolescents but also sees children.
He is internationally certified as a cognitive behaviour therapist
and is an Associate Fellow of the Albert Ellis Institute in New
York City.
He has additional specialist training from the Beck Institute in
Philadelphia and is a member of the Association for Behavioural
and Cognitive Therapies (New York). Bradley has been responsible
for the creation and delivery of board certified CBT training workshops
for professional therapists across South Africa since 2008. In addition
to contributing toward a number of recent publications, he is involved
in a number of research projects that the Centre for CBT is currently
associated with. The launch of the Bimonthly Meeting for the Advancement
of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies for professionals in Cape
Town represents his most recent initiative within the professional
community.
